Expertise	There are two systems of examination in intellectual property sphere exists in Ukraine. The first system is the system of examination, existing in State department of intellectual property of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ukrpatent). The main aim of this system is maintenance of legality and scientific validity in decision-making on registration or on refusal in registration of IP objects.
	The second system – the system of examination, existing in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. This system includes the state scientific research institutes of judicial examinations and scientific research centre of judicial examinations concerning intellectual property. The Administration of expert maintenance of justice of the specified ministry exercises management of these units.
	The primary goal of this system is maintenance of requirements of law enforcement bodies and courts of Ukraine in the qualified judicial examination of IP objects.
	For the first time in Ukraine in system of official bodies judicial examinations of objects of intellectual property have started to be spent in the Kiev scientific research institute of judicial examinations in 1998.
	Legal bases of judicial examination of objects of intellectual property in Ukraine are defined by the Law of Ukraine «About judicial examination» and other laws of Ukraine, and also departmental statutory acts.
	The order of appointment and carrying out of judicial examinations is defined in the Instruction about appointment and carrying out of judicial examinations.
	Data on problems and questions which are put on the permission of judicial examinations, are described in Methodical recommendations.
	Data on the certified judicial experts contain in the state register.
